Welcome 2.0 from the 2020 Chairs

Dear Colleagues,

We are excited to share the news that PANIC 2020 is going to be fully VIRTUAL this year!   As you can imagine, this change is largely due to the impact of COVID-19. But, it also gives us the opportunity to make PANIC 2020 more accessible than ever before, and we couldn’t be happier about that. Now, conference attendees will be able to access the sessions, poster presentations and conference sponsors through their own computer, at their own convenience, wherever they may be!

While our circumstances have changed, the goals for PANIC 2020 remain the same.  To bring NMR enthusiasts from industry, government, and academia  together to network and learn exciting new ways NMR can be applied to solve real-world problem.  The 8th Annual PANIC Conference will employ a virtual format that will allow for maximum flexibility in access to content, live Q&A sessions and one on one virtual networking opportunities with our sponsors and exhibitors.  The conference dates are now October 19 - 22, 2020, and we are excited for you to join us for as PANIC goes virtual!

THANK YOU: Thank you to our 2020 Superconductor Sponsor -- Bruker.

EXTENDED CALL FOR ABSTRACTS:  With PANIC 2020 going virtual, we have reopened the call for abstracts and encourage those who do practical industry-focused NMR problem solving to submit an abstract for consideration for a poster presentation. This reopened call for poster abstracts will close now on Monday, September 7, 2020.

Please note: all proposals are subject to review and approval by the full Organizing Committee.

TECHNICAL AND Q&A SESSIONS: Technical sessions will take place daily throughout the virtual conference and will be available for access any time after the initial session time. Live Q&A sessions will provide numerous opportunities and avenues for attendees to engage our session speakers.

VALIDATION WORKSHOP:  The 5th Annual Validation Workshop will be held virtually on Thursday, October 22, 2020.  Please refer to the Valid NMR Web Site for more information on this forum and the most up-to-date quarterly newsletter.

FOR MORE INFORMATION:  As our plans rapidly unfold for virtual PANIC 2020, you can find the most updated information right here on our web site including registration information, calls for abstracts and other meeting news.  Stay tuned!

On behalf of the full PANIC Scientific Organizing Committee, we invite YOU to be part of our PANIC 2020 program for one of the best PANIC conferences ever!

The PANIC 2020 Conference

The PANIC conference experience is about knowledge sharing, networking, community, and fun! Choose from a series of high-level technical sessions to learn about the latest developments in the use of NMR for real practical problems.  There will be presentations, workshops and case studies of real-world experiences with regulatory, government, and academic scientists.

Engage with the virtual exhibit booths and poster sessions to find products and services that will help you grow and strengthen your research and operations. You will return back to your office with the knowledge, tools and contacts to be more successful in your work.

Year over year, conference attendees have highly benefited from attending the PANIC Conference and this year will be no different. Conference participants are scientists and managers in industrial, government, and academic laboratories that use NMR to solve a variety of changing and challenging analytical problems on a daily basis.  Attendees also include regulatory professionals who oversee the applications of NMR in the drug and food industries and in environmental assessment; quality control managers looking for powerful methods that can provide unique solutions to their problems; and scientists developing new NMR technologies to address emerging analytical challenges.
